Get to know us

We both were born and raised in central Wisconsin and have lived here our whole lives. In just under 30 years each on this Earth; we truly have seen it all-at least when it comes to sports in our state.

Tom was formerly a member of a local radio station here in Wausau and gained a plethora of experience in the field reporting on various topics, but mainly including our hometown sports teams. Tom has always had a knack for writing and reporting, and looks to take advantage of his skillset to create a new experience yet seen in the media for our state.

Kane has been a staple at the Foot Locker corporate contact center, which has been a cornerstone piece of Wausau. He has vested almost all of his free-time into learning all there is to know when it comes to the game, any game; even the sneaker game. He is also a diehard pro-wrestling fan, with a very cheese-obsessed acquaintance in Queso Cabeza.

Both Tom and Kane have a passion for writing, journalism, cats, chicken, and most importantly; providing a product that is palatable for every kind of Cheesehead.

Our mission

We want everyone to feel the advantage.

What is the advantage you may ask?

Well, to us; the advantage is simply getting to call this state home. We believe that the history of sports is built off the backbone and grit of the players and figures that originated and gained their fame in the Northwoods.

From Vince Lombardi, to Hank Aaron, to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar; we feel that we have always had the advantage. Our mission is simply to share that with the rest of the world.

Our vision

We aim to have a weekly podcast as well as a semi-daily blog to keep everyone in the know when it comes to all things Wisconsin sports teams.

We never take a season off. While some other channels may 'fly south' once their season is over; we simply switch to the next sport that is most relevant.

Our podcast aims to be fun yet factual; we know that stats can get boring sometimes, but we will add our own flavor to the mix to keep things entertaining and to keep everyone engaged.
